COVID-19 Notice

We are working hard to support you and your family during this difficult time and therefore to protect you and our staff we will be delivering our services in a different way.

Clinic and face-to-face contacts are now being offered by video or phone appointments. This is for your safety and ours, as we work together to prevent the spread of COVID-19, whilst continuing to deliver the healthcare you need.

If your health professional believes you require a face-to-face appointment in person this will be organised for you.

Children's Centres

Our Children’s Centres provide families with a range of support services to get through those early challenges and help give children the best start.

What we offer

To find your local centre and check what’s available for you and your child, please visit our dedicated Children’s Centre page.

Special Educational Needs

Special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) can affect your child’s ability to learn, such as their abilty to socialise and make friends, their ability to understand things and concentrate and their physical development. Our Health and Wellbeing teams and network of wider specialist practitioners whom we work with will support you fully throughout your journey.

What we provide

We work closely with parents and carers whose children have special educational needs and disabilities, to ensure our offer helps all families to thrive.

Young Parents

Our Health and Wellbeing teams provide additional support to help young parents juggle the challenges of becoming a new parent.  Support and advice is flexible and accessible to meet the health and wellbeing needs of each family during pregnancy and after.

What we provide

We support you through your pregnancy and on through the early years with your baby or toddler.  We provide advice on Breastfeeding, safe sleeping, communication, learning and development, immunisations and basic baby care.
